Users of wheelchairs have the right to their timely repair. This right includes other CRT equipment as well. A timely repair is one completed within 10 days of the request. Time you spend waiting for prior approvals and delivery of parts doesn’t count against the 10 days. If repairs take longer than 10 days, you can file a complaint with the Office of the Healthcare Advocate (OHA).
For more information or to file a complaint, contact the OHA by phone at 1.866.466.4446. Or you can email the office at Healthcare.Advocate@ct.gov.
HUSKY Health will be sending a survey to some of our members by mail to find out what members think about the care and services we provide. The envelope will say, “Your health plan wants to hear from you.”
If you receive the survey, please take the time to fill it out. You can drop the completed survey in the mail, online, or over the phone.
